3D design of a potential hydropower system at a dam

Easy Hydro carried out a feasibility study to install a hydropower system on the environmental flow discharge from a dam. The water is currently discharged to atmospheric pressure by a set of valves, dissipating all the energy potential.

In the feasibility study, we assessed different options in terms of turbine types, power output and hydraulic configuration to provide the optimal solution according to the customer’s needs and the site constraints.
