Easy Hydro visits three mining operations across Peru 

The purpose of the visit was to assess the hydropower energy recovery potential within the water management systems of the mines.

It was inspiring to see firsthand how Peru’s mining sector is embracing opportunities to enhance energy efficiency and reduce its carbon footprint. Each site presented unique challenges — from elevation changes to flow variability and water quality.

These visits reaffirmed how renewable energy solutions can play a vital role in driving more responsible and resilient mining operations.
