History
Formed in 2019, Easy Hydro originated from 10+ years of applied research into sustainable hydropower at Trinity College Dublin including international collaborations such as the HydroBPT, Dŵr Uisce and REDAWN research projects.
From the very beginning, the focus of those research projects was the repurposing of standard water pumps as cost-effective, yet efficient, hydro turbines (Pumps As Turbines, PAT).
The Easy Hydro team has since brought that expertise and benefits to customers worldwide. Starting from a few pilot sites in 2019, there are now Easy Hydro turbines operational across multiple sectors, countries and continents.
The company focuses on translating research insights into viable, market-ready solutions for its customers. Today, Easy Hydro continues to leverage its research-driven origins to offer affordable, sustainable, hydropower solutions for energy recovery, system efficiency, and rural electrification.
