Since our origins as a Trinity College Dublin spin-out, Easy Hydro has always been a research-based company. Therefore, we are continuously involved in a series of internal and collaborative R&D projects to develop and test new solutions.

Our engineering team is working on several cutting-edge technologies to make small-scale hydropower even more convenient and practical. Among these, we are developing a cheaper off-grid hydropower equipment solution for remote sites.
HY4RES

Easy Hydro is among the partners of the HY4RES project, which received a €3.2 million grant by the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme 2021-2027 framework and will foster the development of hybrid renewable energy systems for the green transition of the Atlantic area of Europe.
